About hrsw
HRSW is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the effective use of targeted sanctions against human rights abusers in Iran. Our mission is to bridge the gap between existing sanctions authorities and their implementation.
HRSW believes that strategic use of targeted sanctions can be a powerful tool in deterring human rights violations and promoting accountability. By focusing on individuals at various levels of Iran's repressive apparatus, we aim to create a ripple effect that discourages participation in human rights abuses.
Our work is driven by the conviction that every individual deserves to have their fundamental rights protected, and that the international community has both the tools and the responsibility to act against those who violate these rights.
